This August, the Professional Fighters League launched PFL Rewards, a global loyalty program with Futureverse technology at its core. Designed to scale with the business, it combines AI, blockchain, and immersive fan engagement to extend the league’s reach beyond the arena and bring fans closer to the action.
Available in the PFL app on iOS and Android, PFL Rewards unites the league’s 650M+ global fans in one digital hub, rewarding everything from watching live fights to making predictions, unlocking merch, VIP access, and more.
Behind the scenes, it’s powered by Pass, enabling fans to unlock status badges as NFTs without even knowing they’re using web3. With seamless sign-on, PFL fans jumped straight into the action, enjoying rewards and digital collectibles without the friction usually associated with this advanced tech.
PFL CEO, John Martin, noted the league’s decision to partner with Futureverse was based on our expertise in digital collectibles. The collaboration shows how future-ready tech can transform fan passion into long-lasting loyalty and long-term growth.
The Readyverse took another step towards full launch with the opening of its public Early Access phase. This marked the start of a new chapter for games and IP on the next-gen discovery platform that brings communities, content, and world-class brands together under one roof.
In The Readyverse, players can explore connected worlds, step into branded Showrooms, and carry a persistent avatar and identity across experiences – all infused with the Ready Player One IP and powered by Futureverse infrastructure. Pass enables seamless onboarding, UBF ensures assets remain interoperable across environments, Connectibles allow IP to extend into new contexts, and Altered State AI powers creativity and play.
From gamified AI creation in Promptopia to seamless interoperability across experiences, Early Access showed the commercial potential of the platform and the opportunities it can give developers and brands to grow with their audiences.
The launch of Promptopia in The Readyverse revealed how AI can be used as a powerful tool for interactive entertainment. In this live arena, a Game Master runs rapid-fire minigames while players create with AI, battle, climb the leaderboard, and turn imagination into gameplay. Built using the Altered State API, the experience turns simple player prompts into real-time creations.
For brands and developers, the model is a gamechanger, with players becoming the co-creators of the experience. Every round is different, every session is new, and the retention potential grows with the creativity of the community.
By giving players the tools to build and amplify their ideas with AI, Promptopia is showing how imagination can fuel immersive experiences and open up new applications for digital IP.
MLB fans and collectors had their pick of ICONs or Gems in August. To start out the month, Candy dropped 2025 Speedway Classic ICONs to celebrate the first-ever MLB game at The Last Colosseum – Bristol Motor Speedway. This drop allowed fans to chase Rainbow Variants of two of the game's brightest stars, Elly De La Cruz and Ronald Acuña Jr. To no one’s surprise, the latest ICONs drop sold out.
But that's not all, following July's Baseball Hall of Fame Induction, Candy also released this year's edition of Hall of Fame Gems. This highly-anticipated Gems drop introduced first Candy digital collectibles for Hall of Famers Joe Mauer and Scott Rolen. Collectors that completed Collection Challenges were also rewarded with a memorable Chaser Gem of Cal Ripken Jr.'s 400th Career Home Run. 2025 Hall of Fame Gems continued the hot streak with another sell out!
Now, all sights are set on September and the Pennant Races happening throughout the league. Fans, get ready, because the Postseason is coming soon.
Four years may be a short time for traditional IP, but in the fast-moving digital world, it shows real staying power. FLUF World’s fourth trip around the sun underlines how digital IP can evolve, adapt, and create value over time.
The milestone was marked across social channels, with collectors sharing their favorite memories and, in true Fluf fashion, every holder received a surprise reward of 4,000 $ROOT.
Over the years, the character collectibles raised millions for meaningful causes, featured in games and pop culture, and shaped how owners express themselves online. Now, they’re gateways to the immersive internet of the future, unlocking interoperable experiences like The Readyverse and shaping how digital IP will create value in the years ahead.
More big news came from FLUF World this month, as Knuxpotential – a long-time Fluf collector and community voice – stepped into a new role as Head of FLUF World and helped launch the FLUF World Forum on X.
The Forum is a new series designed to give the community a direct voice in the brand’s future. In the first one, Knux and cohosts BildoVerde and 0CreditsLeft explored FLUF World’s ‘why’ (joy, connection, creativity, and more) while inviting the community to share their vision for what’s next.
By turning engagement into co-creation, the FLUF World Forum gave fans a real say in where the brand is headed, and the IP will grow stronger because of it.
August was another sellout-heavy month for Candy’s DC3 lineup, with 7 out of 9 drops selling out – some in record time. Batman (1940–2011) #9 sold out in under five minutes, with others like Supergirl (2025-) #4, Peacemaker Tries Hard! (2023) #1, and Immortal Legend Batman (2025-) #1 (gone in just 15 minutes) quickly following suit.
Other top-performing drops included Absolute Batman (2024-) #11, Superman Unlimited (2025-) #4, and Absolute Martian Manhunter (2025-) #6. Additional drops this month included Absolute Flash (2025-) #6 and Krypto: The Last Dog of Krypton (2025-) #3, further expanding the Absolute Universe and deepening fans’ on-chain collections.
Timed with the Season 2 premiere of Peacemaker, Shae Biron teamed up with TRU Media Group for a livestream breaking down the debut episode and spotlighting the Peacemaker Tries Hard! (2023) #1 DC3 drop. The livestream series will continue throughout the season, so fans can tune in weekly for open discussions, community reactions, and full-on spoiler breakdowns of each episode.
Now three months in, Shae has been hosting a monthly livestream that gives collectors a first-look preview of the next wave of DC3s dropping on Candy. The stream goes live 30 minutes before the official email and blog announcement – making it the earliest way to catch what’s coming.
Each session dives into the month’s lineup, breaks down major campaigns, and opens the floor to live community Q&A – turning collectors into insiders before the official announcements go live. Seven DC3s sold out last month, one in under five minutes. Real collectors know: timing is everything. Tune in with Shae for the live reveal and stay ahead before the rush, before the inbox, before it’s gone.
