I am excited to see many pieces of the puzzle coming together and revealing the technology that we are building to realize the foundations of the open metaverse that is in our vision at Futureverse.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed stepping more into the spotlight and showing you what we’ve all been working on, in the first episode of ‘The Tech’ on Futureverse TV. This premiere episode was more of an introduction of myself and the Futureverse tech stack from a high level, but we’ll dive deeper into different tech components of the Futureverse Platform and The Root Network in subsequent episodes starting Jan 2024.
We’re thrilled to see the successful launch of the ROOT token across several major exchanges. On top of the latest Root Network developments, we’ve also announced our Swappables Engine and the upcoming fun Party Bears Swappables experience, as well as our new AI racing game Raicers and The Muhammad Ali - The Next Legends Gym Bag opening.
There is a lot more cooking in the busy kitchen of the Futureverse family, and we thank you all for sharing the passion and the excitement for the delicious future that is coming!

Hot off the press, we have just announced that Futureverse will spearhead Reebok's efforts to broaden the ways consumers can interact with its products across the entire ecosystem from footwear to apparel.
In 2024, Reebok and Futureverse will premiere “Reebok Impact,” a mind and heart-bending digital shoe experience that will allow mass consumers to dip their toes into artificial intelligence for the first time. Leveraging Futureverse’s advanced technology, and world-class creative and digital content, this collaboration will demonstrate that life is not about your sneakers, it’s about what you do while you wear them.
"We are beyond excited to announce our exclusive partnership with Reebok; a testament to our shared belief that life is a journey of active participation, not observation. This collaboration is a groundbreaking fusion of AI, web3, gaming, and metaverse technologies, set to transform how consumers define digital fashion. It's an invitation for consumers to step into a world in which their digital footprint is as significant as their physical one. Together, we're pioneering digital possibilities where every step tells a story, and every story shapes our world,” says Shara Senderoff and Aaron McDonald, Co-Founders of Futureverse.
“Our partnership with Futureverse and the upcoming launch of Reebok Impact enables us to transcend traditional boundaries of innovation to engage our consumers in the digital evolution of our products in ways that redefine the realm of possibility,” Todd Krinsky, CEO of Reebok.
This announcement marks the first step in Reebok and Futureverse’s long-term partnership together. Through this partnership, they will continue to expand, add functionality and integrations and launch new experiences.

Important Note: As KuCoin and Bybit are using ERC20 ROOT (wrapped ROOT tokens on Ethereum), ensure you send ERC20 ROOT to these exchanges and use an Ethereum address when withdrawing from these exchanges. If you withdraw ERC20 ROOT to a FuturePass address, you will lose your tokens forever. If you are unsure, it is always best practice to send a small test transaction first.
Vortex, The Root Network’s innovative rewards token, have now been sent to those who helped secure the network in the first staking cycle.
Throughout the staking cycle, Gas & Network Fees, along with the network’s Bootstrap Incentives are added to The Vortex pool. At the end of the cycle, these rewards are distributed in the form of Vortex tokens to network participants.
Vortex tokens represent a corresponding percentage of the tokens in The Vortex, currently ROOT, XRP, SYLO, ASTO, and some LP tokens. If you participated in the first rewards cycle, your Vortex tokens will be visible in your FuturePass will be redeemable for their underlying tokens in the Staking Dashboard.
Exciting news on the chain, as not one, but two decentralized exchanges (DEXs) have recently launched on The Root Network. Dexter utilises The Root Network’s native DEX pallet which also provides liquidity pools for our any-token gas economy, while Moai Finance utilises an EVM sidechain and integrates directly into XRPL.
These launches mark a significant stride forward, driving greater utility and fostering accessibility and efficiency on The Root Network.
Futureverse is the first NZ-based company to own an NVIDIA DGX H100 and we’re pretty excited about it. Here’s why…
Over the last 5 years, we’ve been busy building a suite of AI tools that will open up new doors for creators and everyday humans to create the worlds they imagine. But to allow for the exponential amount of AI Generated Content (AIGC) consumers can conjure in their imaginations, significant computing resources are required.
Enter the NVIDIA DGX H100, the world’s leading AI supercomputer. Our in-house team of AI scientists have leveraged the DGX H100 to decrease the amount of time it takes for 3D object generation from a user’s prompt by 672 times!
Beyond content creation, Futureverse is making significant strides in the music industry with JEN, an innovative text-to-music model powered by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs. Futureverse's research paper introduces an efficient approach and an unmatched model, offering a promising strategy that benefits both creators and the music industry.
Futureverse stands at the intersection of AI and metaverse technologies, opening doors to scalable and interoperable apps, games, and experiences. Through strategic partnerships and a significant digital collectible community, Futureverse continues to shape the future of the metaverse and beyond.
Futureverse has signed with leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation in all areas. CAA and Futureverse will work collaboratively to create new opportunities for talent and IP, spanning web3, the metaverse, virtual games, worlds and experiences, AI, and beyond.
Signing with CAA enables us to bolster our strategic entertainment efforts to accelerate the creation of world-class technology experiences in collaboration with well-known IP in Film/TV, sports, music, consumer products, and more.
“Futureverse’s strategic collaboration with CAA has forged a strong alignment in fostering the development of mutually beneficial business models that empower creators with groundbreaking tools and lucrative revenue opportunities. As pioneers in AI, web3 and metaverse infrastructure, driven by a deep appreciation for art and humanity, we see an incredibly bright future for the world of entertainment. Joining forces with CAA amplifies and accelerates the dialogue and partnerships that reinforce and expand our shared vision,” says Futureverse Co-Founder Shara Senderoff.
“We are thrilled to be working with Futureverse, who are establishing themselves as leaders in the technology and entertainment space. This partnership is not just a meeting of minds, but a fusion of capabilities that will accelerate our shared vision for a smarter, more connected world," says CAA’s Phil Quist.

What is your role at Futureverse?
I’m the Head of Business Development for The Root Network.
What were you doing before Futureverse?
I’ve been an artist manager for 10 years working alongside talent like The Black Eyed Peas, Steve Aoki, Tyga, Afrojack and more. In 2021, I started Six.xyz where I got to on-board legends like Eminem, and Freddie Mercury into web3, and also had the honor of brokering the sale of Wu-Tang’s 1/1 album “Once Upon A Time In Shaolin” to a DAO, breaking the record for most expensive album sale of all time. While Six was active, we facilitated over $10m in NFT sales and drove over $500k to charitable causes. I’ve also had the privilege to be an angel investor to 30+ startups (including our very own ASM and Immersve), and started an investment club called DAO Jones with some of my music friends that invest in AI, web3, and the metaverse.
What do you enjoy most about about your role?
I love getting to speak with teams all around the world about The Root Network and Futureverse, and finding ways to support developers and encourage growth on TRN!
What is your favorite FV collection?
My favorite collection will always be the Flufs, but I really love the ASM Brains too.
What are some of your interests outside of work?
Some of my favorite things in the world include travelling, collecting art, food adventures, scuba diving, all things AI and innovation, Burning Man, and karaoke.
